Exeed is curtailing sales of the large VX crossover on the Russian market

The second most popular and once the flagship of the Chinese brand Exeed, the large crossover VX, is leaving the domestic market. This was reported by Auto Mail with reference to members of the dealer community.

Now the second most popular and once flagship of the Chinese brand, the large VX crossover, is leaving the domestic market. Sellers were notified that there would be no new deliveries of VX, the publication clarifies.

In Russia, the only version of the model was sold – with a two-liter turbo engine (249 hp, 385 Nm), a classic eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission and a sixth-generation BorgWarner electro-hydraulic clutch for connecting the rear axle.

The Exeed VX is a full-size crossover: its length is 4970 mm, its width is 1940 mm, and its height is 1792 mm. In 2023, the car underwent an update, receiving a different interior, a modified transmission and some other improvements.

In turn, the Russian office of the Exeed brand could not confirm the information about the departure of the all-terrain vehicle, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports. But they clarified that the brand is “in the process of transformation.”

“There are plans to focus more on renewable energy vehicles in the future,” an Exeed spokesperson said.
