Exlantix EX climbed a dizzying ice springboard

The premium Chinese crossover, which is about to go on sale in Russia, climbed onto the Big Air Shougang platform in Beijing – it is used for competitions in the big air discipline. The maximum slope of the route is 37.82 degrees, and the friction coefficient of its surface is only 0.2. The company noted that this is one of the most difficult test climbs in the history of the automotive industry.

The ascent to the springboard was made by a hybrid ET – it is sequential, that is, the internal combustion engine as part of the installation acts as an energy generator, and two electric motors with a total power of 634 horsepower are responsible for rotating the wheels. The hybrid is all-wheel drive and is equipped with a set of safety systems, as well as smart IAS air suspension, adaptive shock absorber control and intelligent torque distribution between the axles.

Dynamic redistribution of traction between the front and rear axles in the range of 0–100 percent ensures confident movement on the most difficult types of road surfaces, including snow.

It was previously reported that the ET reaches a length of 4.96 meters, a width of 1.98 meters with a three-meter wheelbase, and the interior is designed for five people. The trunk holds at least 485 liters of cargo, and with the rear seatbacks lowered – 1835 liters.

The cabin is equipped with a 15.6-inch media system screen and a 10.25-inch diagonal dashboard, as well as an audio system with eight or 23 speakers, depending on the configuration. There is a panoramic roof and frameless door windows.
