Volvo will sell cars from the Chinese brand Lynk & Co in Europe

The companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a new commercial partnership on March 30, Carnewschina reports.

According to the document, sales and maintenance of Lynk & Co cars will be carried out through the existing Volvo dealer network in Europe.

Volvo management regards this step as mutually beneficial for all participants in the process. Retail partners will receive an additional flow of customers, and the Chinese brand itself will be able to increase sales volumes without the need to create its own infrastructure from scratch.

It is important that the partnership does not imply changes in the capital structure. Lynk & Co will remain a brand under the Geely Auto Group.
