Experts have removed the question about the characteristics of Putin’s new limousine

In May 2024, the modernized Aurus Senat debuted. As it has now become known, the length of the limousine has increased to 6653 mm – only 23 mm more than before, as the increase was provided by new bumpers. At the same time, the car became significantly heavier. The curb weight is now 6625 kg, and the total weight is 7080 kg, which exceeds the previous figures by as much as 285 kg. This may be due to increased armor protection.

Avito Auto magazine found the characteristics of the updated Aurus Senat by studying the open database of Rosstandart. In addition to the data on the presidential limousine, the publication’s experts also drew attention to the fact that the brand is preparing to transform the long version of the junior sedan.

So, after restyling, the intermediate limousine will be designed differently. Now a simple approach is used – a half-meter blind insert is cut between the front and rear doors, and now a more elegant solution is used – with elongated doors.

Previously, Aurus has quietly increased power in sedans, crossovers and minivans. From open sources, Motor managed to find out that starting from 2024, domestic luxury models are subject to documents with a different return.

The passport of vehicles up to and including the year 2023 indicates a power of 440 kilowatts (598.2 horsepower), and for Auruses produced in 2024-2025, a different value is valid – 468 kilowatts (636.3 horsepower).
