Ferrari presented a unique version of the 12Cilindri sports car with a dashboard made of hair

The car was created with references to Korean cultural traditions. The project was developed in collaboration with the publication COOL HUNTING, which specializes in culture, fashion and art, as well as with the participation of Korean curator Jaen Lee. A special contribution was made by artist Dahye Jeong, winner of the 2022 Loewe Foundation Craft Prize.

Technically, no surprises. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine. Its power is 830 hp and maximum torque is 678 Nm. The power unit is paired with an 8-speed DCT robotic transmission.

The main attention is paid to exclusive design. The body is painted in a special Yoonseul “bleached” hue – an iridescent blue-violet color with greenish accents. Ferrari notes that the inspiration came from traditional Korean sea-green ceramics, as well as the rhythms of K-Pop and electronic music that has gone far beyond Seoul. The name Yoonseul itself is associated with the sea and refers to the glare of the sun on the water surface.

The most interesting detail is in the cabin: horsehair is used in the dashboard trim. The material was sourced from manufacturers certified by the Korea Chamber of Commerce. The interior also features an innovative 3D fabric developed by the South Korean company, which was a new experience for Ferrari. Even the panoramic roof received a special pattern, creating a complex play of light and shadows.

This special edition is not planned to be available in Europe or the US. The car is intended exclusively for the South Korean market, where the demand for such exclusive projects is especially high.

Earlier it was reported that in Russia they sell a VAZ-2101 with lambo doors and a powerful engine.
