The answer to this question appeared in one of the official telegram channels of AvtoVAZ, “we will get along with Lada.” From the publication it follows that from a place to 100 kilometers per hour, the SUV accelerates in 12 seconds, and this is five seconds faster than the standard Niva Legend. The maximum speed, in turn, increased by 20 kilometers per hour, up to 162 kilometers per hour.

AvtoVAZ will release Lada Niva Sport on the market in the middle of this year, but for now, test SUVs are sent to tests. Until now, the dynamic characteristics of the novelty, if given, were only approximate – it has not been known for certain how much the sports option is faster than the usual classical field. At the same time, he was called the “most frisky serial version of the legendary SUV.”

The SPORT version has a suspension reconfigurated, the rear disc brakes are added, the distribution box is changed. The SUV drives a 16-valve “atmospheric” with a capacity of 122 horsepower and 151 nm of torque. The gearbox is mechanical, with reinforced gears of the fifth gear and the clutch card plus the handout with a single -row drive.

The production of Niva Sport was launched at the end of 2024 – it is carried out by the efforts of the subsidiary of AvtoVAZ LLC Lada Sport. The stained bodies are brought here straight from the plant, and Lada Sport specialists are already responsible for the individual assembly of each copy.

According to preliminary estimates, the Niva Sport will cost about 2-2.5 million rubles. For comparison: prices for ordinary Niva Legend as of mid -February 2025 are in the range from 1,059,000 to 1,209,000 rubles.
