Under the Enua brand, they will produce exclusive products in which not only functionality, but also artistic expressiveness will be important. Of course, by analogy with supercars, Ennua furniture will not be for everyone. At least a limited circulation will make it quite rare.
Ex-designers of McLaren, Hoan Diaz and Patrick Carto, launched an Ennua exclusive furniture brand. The name is formed from two words: Latin Eniteo, meaning “shine and superior”, and the Irish Nua – “modern, new”. For two founders of Ennua, more than 20 years of experience in automobile design, and in the portfolio such projects as McLaren W1, Speedtail, Elva and Artura. Therefore, it is not surprising that they want to do furniture under inspiration from supercars. Each product will be created at the junction of functionality and art and, in addition, is released by limited edition.
Ennua
The first work of Ennua is an unusual chair with a base of carbon fiber, upholstery with dark brown skin and golden accents. This is not even furniture in the traditional sense, but something between the sculpture and the item of the interior. The choice of materials, according to Diaz and Cardboard, is dictated by their beauty, durability and rarity – and this is what Enua has much in common with McLaren cars. In total, 199 of these seats will be released.
If desired, in the Enua chair you can see references to McLaren W1 – a new flagship of a brand with a hybrid power plant with a capacity of 1275 horsepower, rear -wheel drive and many exotic solutions. For example, the role of the rear bumper is performed by a diffuser, and the titanium components of the front suspension are printed on a 3D printer. The circulation will be 399 copies at a price of $ 2.1 million per each.
