From January 1, car towing rates will increase in Moscow

In addition to the evacuation itself, the cost of storing a car in a parking lot will also become more expensive. Thus, for cars with a capacity of 80 to 250 horsepower, the cost of evacuation will be 10,900 rubles – excluding storage and a fine for violating parking rules. You must pay for the towing within 60 days of returning the car, otherwise you will have to pay even more.

From January 1, the service of moving vehicles of categories M, A and B with engines up to 80 horsepower will cost motorists 7,200 rubles, category B with an engine from 80 to 250 horsepower – 10,900 rubles, and for category B, but with power installation of more than 250 forces – 11,845 rubles. The listed rates are valid if payment is made within 60 days from the date of return of the car.

If the driver pays for the towing service after 60 days, then different rates apply. If the car weighs up to four tons, then the price will be 11,845.95 rubles, and if it is more or it is an oversized vehicle – 67,728.7 rubles.

Storage in a special parking lot is paid separately. For vehicles of categories M and A, the price is 1,150 rubles per day, for vehicles of categories B and D weighing up to three tons – 2,100. For category D weighing more than 3.5 tons, the tariff is 2,893 rubles per day, as well as for oversized, C and E. Again, prices listed apply if payment is made within 60 days. If later, then a day of storage will cost 2893.41 rubles.

Most often, parking rules are violated by drivers of cars with engines with power from 80 to 250 horsepower, and accordingly, they are most often towed. Currently, evacuation costs drivers 9,970 rubles. Thus, starting from the New Year, tariffs will increase by 10 percent.
