The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant is preparing a new version of the SUV with a two -liter fuel unit from the Chinese JAC and a six -speed manual gearbox, which is produced in Russia at the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant (ZMZ). Such a “patriot” debuts until the end of this year, said UAZ Director General Alexei Spirin in an interview with Vesti Ulyanovsk.

In April, the 2.0 diesel engine from the Eastern Partner and the six -speed “mechanics” made a “pro” truck, Spirin recalled. “By the end of this year, we plan to introduce them to the conveyor and for UAZ Patriot,” the head of the car factory added.
