GAC revealed the date of the premiere of three new products for the Russian market

As it became known to Motor, on March 17, the Chinese brand will represent the Empow sedan, the GS4 Max crossover, as well as the flagship GS8 Highway performed by Traveler (the GX Traveler is also found). The four-door Empow will compete with the Changan Uni-V, Cherizo 8 and Geely Emgrand, GS4 Max will challenge Geely Atlas, and the GS8 GX Traveler version is intended for lovers of auto tutorism.

Empow received approval of the type of vehicle (OTTS) at the end of last year. From certification documents it follows that this is a C-class sedan 4.7 meters long. It is based on the GPMA platform, the same on which the GS3 crossover is based, and under the hood – a 1.5 -liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 177 horsepower. The pair of the engine is a seven -speed “robot”. In China, the model has other power plants, but in Russia they are waiting for modification with this connection.

Two 10.25-inch screens are installed in the Sedan salon, there is an audio system with eight speakers, an atmospheric suspension with 32 colors, front chairs with heating and ventilation, adaptive headlights, active cruise control, circular review chambers and more. There is a richly equipped sedan with a 1.5-liter engine of 108–128 thousand yuan (1.3–1.5 million rubles). The next novelty is the GS4 Max crossover, it received OTTS since February. From the equipment for the model in China, a 14.6-inch touch screen of the multimedia system and a digital panel of devices with a diagonal of seven inches are declared. From the options, heated windshield is expected. In the PRC GAC GS4 Max, you can buy for 115.8–126.8 thousand yuan (1.6-1.75 million rubles).

Finally, the GS8 flagship will acquire Traveler for travel. This version is distinguished by the presence of additional boxing on the fifth door, 20-inch wheels of the original design and an off-road body kit. In addition, the front seats GAC GS8 Traveler are complemented by ventilation function. It is expected that this will be the most expensive GS8 equipment, which so far costs from 3,699,000 to 4,449,000 rubles.
