The GAC Hyptec A800 is offered in four trim levels at prices ranging from 189,800 to 299,800 yuan (2.1 million rubles–3.4 million rubles). The main feature of the model is the integration of the Huawei Qiankun ADS V4.1 system and the HarmonySpace 5 intelligent panel. CarNewsChina reports this.
Inside, the A800 features flowing cockpit lines, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 27-inch head-up display (W-HUD) and a 15.6-inch center screen. Also equipped are active noise cancellation and an ADiGO Sound audio system with 23 speakers. In the four-seater version, the rear seats are organized in a “2+1” configuration, which makes it easy to change the interior configuration from four to five seats.
The GAC Hyptec A800 is equipped with a hybrid system with an extended range: a 1.5T petrol engine (160 hp) works as a generator, and the drive is carried out by electric motors. The base has a rear electric motor with 272 hp, the top version has three motors with a total power of 598 hp, which ensures acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
The main technological feature of the A800 is the “triple distributed all-wheel drive” system. It actively redistributes torque between the axles and the rear wheels separately. This allows you to perform spectacular maneuvers such as “compass turns” and increases safety: if a tire punctures at speeds of up to 120 km/h, the system levels the car while maintaining stability.
It was previously reported that German cars could become much more expensive for Russians due to the new recycling fee.
