Geely Cityry is preparing to update in China: it will be like atlas

The crossover in the new design was declassified thanks to the base of the Chinese Ministry of Industry – the photos are published by the Chinese Car portal. Judging by the pictures, the model that is sold in China called Boyue Cool, and in Russia under the name Cityray, will soon be transformed in the style of the latest Atlas. The updated option is differently decorated with the front part – it looks more restrained than that of the current crossover.

In China, Boyue Cool/Cityry has been sold since 2023, and in Russia the crossover officially appeared in the fall of 2024. This is the C-Class Vitrior City, which is positioned a step above Coolray, but below Atlas. The model is built on the BMA platform, Geely’s own development, and under the hood she has a 1.5-liter “turbocharger” with a capacity of 147 horsepower, which works with a semi-diaphasnous “robot” with a double “wet” clutch. The drive is only the front.

In China, the model is offered with the same engine 1.5, but in the force for 181 horsepower, otherwise it repeats the Cityry that is sold with us. And technical changes are not expected.

Restyling in the middle of the life cycle will bring the new exterior design: the radiator grill will become more compact and stricter due to vertical lamellas, the Geely emblem will make it larger, and the headlights will become trapezoidal – they will be connected by the LED strip. The front bumper with imitation of air ducts has also changed. But in the profile, the updated Cityry looks the same as the current one.

Whether Geely Cityry will appear with a new design in Russia is unknown. So far, we (as in China) offer a pre -reform version, which costs 2,849,990 – 3 254 190 rubles without discounts and 2,499,990 – 2 814 190 rubles with them.
