Geely showed the Galaxy Cruiser SUV, which will compete with the Land Rover Defender

It is expected that the official premiere of the new product on the domestic market will take place at the end of 2026, reports CnEVPost.

Judging by the pictures in which the car is still hidden by camouflage, it will receive a distinctly brutal appearance with square, chopped body shapes, reminiscent of classic SUVs. You can also see a high belt line, impressive ground clearance, a large glass area and lidar on the roof.

According to preliminary data, the new product will be equipped with a dynamic control system, including a “crab” driving mode – due to the rotation of all wheels.

There will also be an intelligent all-wheel drive system based on artificial intelligence, capable of automatically adjusting the chassis to the type of surface, and run-flat technology, which allows you to continue driving even on completely flat tires. The presence of lidar on the roof indicates an autopilot with an obstacle avoidance function in the city.

Official details about the powertrain have not yet been revealed, however, given that it belongs to the Galaxy sub-brand, which specializes in electric vehicles and hybrids, we can expect both an all-electric and a hybrid version.

Earlier, the most popular crossovers that Russians are driving from China became known.
