Genesis designers turned the G90 sedan into a compartment and a convertible

At the car dealership in Seoul debuted two concepts based on the flagship G90 – X Gran Coupe and X Gran Convertible, developed by the Genesis Design unit. The company itself talks about “rethinking luxury and performance” and emphasizes that they “open a new chapter in the history of Genesis.”

From the standard sedan G90 and coupe, and convertible are characterized by a large angle of inclination of the front racks and windshield. Accordingly, their roof line is lower. At the same time, the doors were made wider to facilitate access to the salon. The wings are expanded, and the wheel discs are supplemented with transverse sections contrasting with two -row knitting needles. The design of the rear bumper has been changed – it was made more smooth.

The color of the body and decoration of the X Gran Coupe Concept salon are inspired by the Mediterranean olive trees – decorative veneer inserts are used in the interior, deciduous motive is present even on rugs. The X Gran Convertible convertible, in turn, is painted in the color of crush grapes, and its salon conveys a rich tint of the Cabernet-Sovignon variety from the Italian region Livorno.

Of the interesting solutions in the cabin, one can distinguish the seat belts integrated into the seats and built -in displays for passengers in the second row.
