Great Wall criticized the extending door handles: they will no longer be

The founder of the concern and the chairman of the board of directors Vay Jiangjun confirmed that future models will receive traditional door handles. The top manager negatively described the innovation and called it a trend in fashion. The Great Wall boss made it clear that the fashion is cyclical, and soon many companies will refuse to “hidden” handles. Now there are sliding handles on the Haval Monster (F7/F7x), Wey 05 and 07.

During the live broadcast, Wei Jiangjun listed a number of shortcomings and only one advantage of drawing handles. A fashionable technical solution promises a winnings in aerodynamics, albeit insignificant. At the same time, “hidden” handles are harder, they work noisily, dependent on electricity, and the design is not sealed, so in winter the mechanism can freeze.

Separately, the head of Great Wall criticized the safety of electric handles. Say, in the event of an accident, the car is de -energized, and the doors cannot be opened. However, in this case, Wei Jianzyun is cunning, because there are technical solutions that allow you to unlock the handles automatically during an accident. However, in case of danger, even eminent firms do not trust the electric handles: for example, the Mercedes-Benz guard unit returned the traditional handles of the armored S-Class V223.

The new Great Wall models will be produced with ordinary handles, but the Haval F7/F7X life cycle has just begun in Russia, and you can not wait for changes in the near future. There are doubts whether the Chinese concern will change the design of the doors during planned restyling, because the upgrade can be quite expensive.
