The boost button on Honda’s most affordable electric vehicle can shave more than 4 seconds off the 0-60 mph time. Carscoops reports this.
The Super-N is a small electric hatchback built on the Super-One kei car platform and inspired by the City Turbo II hot hatchback from the 80s. The cost of the new product starts at 18,995 pounds (about 1.85 million rubles), which makes it the leader in affordability among Honda electric vehicles in Europe and makes it one of the cheapest electric cars on the British market.
The cost of the Super-N (1.85 million rubles) makes it more affordable than the Renault Twingo E-Tech, whose price is about 1.95 million rubles. At the same time, Honda costs only 33.6 thousand rubles more than the base BYD Dolphin Surf.
The Super-N is only 3599 mm long and 1573 mm wide. Despite its compact dimensions, Honda promises comfortable accommodation for four adult passengers – all thanks to the proprietary “magic” interior layout. The car uses the same folding rear seat design that once made the Honda Jazz much more convenient than the Ford Fiesta.
In standard mode, the e-Axle electric motor produces 63 hp. – this is enough to accelerate the compact hatchback to 100 km/h in 14.5 seconds. When the BOOST button is activated, power increases to 94 hp and acceleration time is reduced to 10 seconds.
