Honda will stop producing two models that are also sold in Russia

Honda will change the range of models presented on the Chinese market. As CarNewsChina reports, dealers of the Japanese brand have stopped accepting customer orders for Fit hatchbacks and ZR-V crossovers, and existing copies of the Accord e:PHEV hybrid sedans and e:NS1 electric cars are now being sold at discounts.

Honda Fit hatchbacks and Honda ZR-V crossovers made in China are offered by Motor Place, which is a Honda distributor in Russia.

As soon as Honda stops producing these models at its Chinese factories, they will also no longer be available to Russian fans of the Japanese brand.

The mid-compact crossover Honda ZR-V is based on the current generation Civic and is located one step below the CR-V in the Honda lineup.

The ZR-V is produced by the Honda-GAC joint venture, while its sister variant, called the HR-V, is produced by the Honda-Dongfeng joint venture.

In Russia, accepting orders for the Honda XR-V crossover has previously started. It is an analogue of the Chinese-assembled Honda Vezel and is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine (124 hp) and a CVT.

The estimated cost of the car is 2,499,000 rubles on a turnkey basis, including customs payments, registration of SBCTS and ELPTS, as well as protection against breakdowns for a period of 3 years or 100,000 km.
