Hongqi opened plans for the Russian market in 2025

The premium Chinese brand has been present in Russia for two years, in connection with which Hongqi spoke about the results of work during this time and further development. This year, the number of dealerships of the brand will increase to 60, and the model line will grow to ten cars. Hongqi is hoped to sell 12 thousand cars according to the results of 2025, while in 2024 7.22 thousand pieces were sold.

Hongqi today remains in Russia the only officially represented in the premium class. For two years of presence, the Russians bought over 11 thousand cars of the brand, of which 7.22 thousand sold in 2024-this is 113 percent more than in 2023. In the first four months of 2025, sales increased by 51 percent in an annual comparison. Hongqi expects that 12 thousand cars will be sold according to the results of the current year, that is, 66 percent more than a year earlier.

Hongqi intends to achieve this result, including by expanding the model gamut. Already in early June, the Russian premiere of the Liftback H6 will be held, which will take a niche between the H5 business sedan and the representative H9. It is known that it will be offered with a ligament of a 245-horsepower turbo engine with a volume of 2.0 liters and an eight-band machine, and the drive will be front.

The liftback will follow the full-size HS7 crossover, which will be available with both five and seven-seater salon. Well, at the end of 2025, it is expected to launch a luxury representative sedan L1, which, according to Hongqi itself, has not yet direct competitors in Russia. Several modifications with V6 and V8 turbo engines with a capacity of up to 490 horsepower are declared for him.
