This question was answered at the metropolitan factory: from January to March, Moskvich dealers sold 3.4 thousand cars, and in the first month of spring – 1.2 thousand. “The brand holds a share in the total sales in the first quarter at 2024, despite the reduction in the market of cars by 25 percent,” the Avtostat agency quoted the Moskvich press service.
Since the beginning of the year, Moskvich’s sales are stable: 1.1 thousand cars were sold in January, the same amount was sold in February, and in March a little more – 1.2 thousand. All three months, as before, the sales driver was the Moskvich 3 fuel crossover.
Moskvich opened the prices of 2025 cars, the launch of Moskvich 8 was postponed until spring the figure of the day: how many Muscovites were sold in 2024
For the whole of 2024, Moskvich sold 23 thousand cars. Of these, a little more than 19 thousand are Moskvich 3 crossovers (JAC JS4) with a gasoline engine, 2.4 thousand elevators of Moskvich 6 (Jac Sehol A5 Plus) and more than 1.3 thousand electric vehicles “Moskvich 3e” (Jac E-JS4). As of April 2025, the brand line consists of the same three models that will later join the three-row crossover Moskvich 8-aka JAC X8 Plus.
Currently, Moskvich is producing cars on a full cycle (CKD) with welding and coloring – a completely new welding line was built for this, which became an important step towards the disaggregation of machine tools and the localization of the components. In the future, the plant intends to continue to deepen the level of localization.
