Huawei and Dongfeng showed photos of the jointly developed Yijing crossover

The official presentation of the model is expected this coming Monday, April 20, as announced by the brand’s CEO Zeng Qinglin on social networks.

Yijing was founded on November 20, 2025. Its debut model is due to be unveiled for the first time at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026, with sales beginning later that year. The company plans to release at least one new model annually, forming a line of cars of different classes and sizes.

The technological basis of Yijing is provided by Huawei Qiankun. The partners say Huawei doesn’t just provide a complete set of solutions: Qiankun autopilot, HarmonyOS multimedia system, chassis control, cloud services and smart optics.

The company is also deeply involved in product development, interior design, quality control and implements its stringent quality management system at all stages from research and development to mass production.

The new 6-seater SUV will be the first flagship under the Yijing brand and the main premiere of the Huawei-Dongfeng alliance in 2026.
