In Belarus they stopped servicing para-imported Geelys

Owners of Geely, which were imported into the republic through parallel import, will have to contact independent service stations. Official service stations have been instructed not to accept such equipment for diagnostics, maintenance and repair.

“Chinese colleagues have banned servicing cars that were not purchased from [официального дилера]“, ABW quotes a dealership employee.

In this way, Geely protects the official sales market, and also insures against incorrect selection of spare parts by VIN number: there were cases when the parts did not fit.

As journalists note, they have several similar requests from owners of “gray” cars, who will now have to use the services of independent service stations.

A Chinese engine will be fitted to the small Gelendvagen. The Russians have collected almost 5 thousand signatures for the abolition of fees for the M-12. The former Toyota plant is setting up production of a new model.

Meanwhile, a new Geely was presented in China: it has all-wheel drive, a low price and the dimensions of a Camry.
