In Europe, they decided to revise the ban on the sale of cars with ICE

It is offered to supplement alternative options for reducing harmful emissions, including the use of synthetic fuel and connected hybrids. A plan of action, which should help the European auto industry get out of the crisis, promise to present in early March.

The European Commission, it seems, was seriously concerned about the survival of the automotive industry during the Great Energy Transition and still decided to review the ban on the sale of cars with gasoline and diesel engines in 2035 on the territory of all 27 countries of the European Union. The speeches of its complete cancellation are not yet undergoing, but the changes will make it possible to make it more to approach the issues of reducing emissions.

At the end of January, speaking at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the German Chancellor Olaf Sholts said that the future was behind electric mobile mobile, and those who think otherwise want to harm European industry. This should be understood as the previous course to replace the technological structure, but since the crisis in the industry can lead to social shocks, a little helping a distressing automotive industry was decided.

The Chairman of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyain announced the beginning of the so-called strategic dialogue-regular meetings with representatives of the industry, large shareholders and trade unions, at which some solutions will work out and determine further steps. The first such meeting took place on January 30. It was attended by 22 companies, including Renault, Volvo, Volkswagen, Valeo and Tesla, as well as promoting the “green” agenda of the NGOs.

The anti -crisis plan according to its results is promised to present in early March, but now it is clear that the goals to reduce harmful emissions will remain the same, but their achievement will be evaluated at longer time intervals. The persistence of the European Party (EPP Group) cannot but arouse admiration, which, apparently, managed to push the theme of alternative fuel types (synthetic, bio-hydrogen) and connected hybrids.

There were also those who remained dissatisfied with either the format or the composition of the participants. For example, representatives of the Czech Democratic Party (ODS) said that key representatives of the industry did not participate in the meeting and, in general, the events were more like a PR trip in order to earn more points before the elections in Germany than to save the automobile industry. But if this is not so, ODS will be pleasantly surprised.
