In Greece, they offer to ban the sale of fuel to motorcyclists who do not wear helmets

The Minister of Health believes that this will help reduce the number of serious injuries and deaths on the roads. The bill also provides for fines for gas stations serving such drivers. This caused a violent reaction among the owners of gas stations, but the authorities insist on the need to increase road safety. The bill is under development, and its adoption may become a precedent for other countries.

In Greece, an unusual measure of the struggle is discussed with violation of the rules of the road by motorcyclists. Most bikers ignore the mandatory use of helmets, which leads to serious consequences. In this regard, the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis, who himself is a motorcyclist, proposed to ban the sale of gasoline to those drivers who do not observe this rule. An amendment to the legislation is being developed, which will include not only a ban on the sale of fuel, but also cash fines for gas stations that ignore this requirement.

Earlier it became known about plans to introduce new noise control chambers under the name “ether” in Moscow. These chambers that have passed certification and are ready for installation will measure the noise level of cars and motorcycles, allowing you to deal with excessively loud transport. For violation, a fine of 5 to 30 thousand rubles will threaten.
