In May, the Russians bought 67 new luxury cars – 76 percent more than a year ago

Although general sales in the car market have decreased by almost a third, the segment of new luxury machines showed noticeable growth. The leader Rolls-Royce is still the leader, followed by Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Aston Martin. In total, 67 premium cars were implemented in May. The most popular model was the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV, which accounted for 14 transactions.

According to analysts of Avtostat agency, the market for new luxury segment vehicles in Russia in May grew 76 percent compared to MAI last year. In quantitative terms, 67 cars were sold, which still makes the segment niche. Against this background, the country’s automobile market in a month demonstrated a fall by 28 percent.

The first place in the number of sales was again taken by the Rolls-Royce brand: in May in Russia they purchased 20 cars of this brand. The five leaders also included Bentley with 17 cars sold, Ferrari with 13 copies, Lamborghini with 12 and Aston Martin, whose sales amounted to 3 cars. 2 new Maserati brand cars were also sold. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan crossover turned out to be the most popular, which accounted for 14 transactions. Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus, which dispersed 8 pieces, also got into the model top.

At the end of May, Avtostat also published statistics on the market of used luxury vehicles. In April, the sales of such machines increased by 19 percent compared to the same month of 2024. In just a month, 253 premium cars were replaced in the country in the country. More than a third of them were Bentley brand models, while Continental GT, which ahead of Lamborghini Urus and Maserati Levante transactions, was in greatest demand.
