In Moscow, they caught the culprit of a terrible accident in which a bicycle courier’s head was torn off

The prosecutor’s office of the Central Administrative District has taken control of establishing all the circumstances of the traffic accident that occurred the night before in the center of Moscow, the department’s Telegram channel reports.

According to preliminary data, late the night before, on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street, a woman driving a Mercedes collided with an electric bicycle and a taxi car, after which she hit a repair work site, and then several other vehicles.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the electric bicycle and the female passenger of the Mitsubishi car did not survive. There are also casualties.

The progress and results of the procedural investigation carried out on this fact are being monitored by the prosecutor’s office.

According to preliminary information, the man driving the electric bicycle had his head torn off after a collision with a Mercedes, a representative of the capital’s emergency services told RIA Novosti.

TASS later reported that the driver who caused the accident in the center of Moscow was driving while intoxicated.

The female driver was detained. Law enforcement agencies informed the agency that, according to preliminary data, the cause of the accident was a significant excess of the permissible speed by the driver of the foreign car.
