Such a way to protect domestic manufacturers from the “Chinese”, which are fixed in the Russian market, suggested the chairman of the Lower Committee for the Protection of Competition, Valery Martung, writes Lenta.ru. The deputy admitted that Russia is seriously behind China technologically, and it is necessary first of all to “motivate its” to develop production.
According to Gartung, it is necessary to encourage domestic manufacturers who establish full -fledged production of components and assemblies for the auto industry.
Foreign partners, in his opinion, Russia are not needed at all, since “we ourselves can do everything.” That is, instead of stimulating the Chinese to localize production in Russia, you need to “motivate their own” and “protect their markets”.
In Russia, state duty for car owners will grow sharply, the Russian car market remained in the global top 15, despite the fall in Russia, the best-selling Chinese cars with “mechanics” were called
Martung also advocated reducing the key rate – one of the reasons for the poor demand in the car market. The head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov also called to reduce it earlier.
Meanwhile, the demand for the “Chinese” in Russia is falling, but Chinese products continue to occupy most places in the top of the market. The permanent leader, the domestic Lada, in June was followed by Haval, Cher, Changan and Geely. Each of them seriously sank sales – by 35–44 percent in an annual comparison.
