The manufacturer, AGR Automotive Group (AGR LLC), increased the cost of “state employees” by 6-224 thousand rubles, or 0.3-8 percent. The jump in prices was noticed by Auto News of the Day after studying the current price lists of the brand. The most significant increase in price has been the Russian favorite Creta, which is produced in St. Petersburg under the name Solaris HC.
The Solaris HC crossover has increased in price in all trim levels. In five of them, the increase was 137-186 thousand rubles, and some options, for example the top-end Lifestyle with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, are now more than 200 thousand more expensive. The new cost of the ex-Creta varies from 2,650,000 to 3,154,000 rubles.
The Solaris KRS, also renamed Kia Rio, in the Comfort version with an automatic transmission, added the minimum six thousand rubles. This version now costs 2,160,000 rubles. The Prestige package has increased in price by 38 thousand, to 2,345,000 rubles.

The cost of the Solaris KRX (Kia Rio X) in the Comfort configuration with an automatic transmission has increased by 167 thousand. Now such a hatchback is valued at 2,261,000 rubles. In other versions, the increase varies from 81 thousand to 127 thousand rubles, and the price ranges from 2,341,000 to 2,566,000.
Only the Solaris HS, also known as the Hyundai Solaris, was not affected by the New Year’s price adjustment. They are still asking for it from 2,020,000 to 2,470,000 rubles.
In December, AGR celebrated its anniversary: the 20,000th Solaris car rolled off the production line. The brand was invented specifically for Russia. Under it, cars are produced at the former Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus plant in St. Petersburg, where, according to insiders, a large number of components remained after Hyundai left.
