In Russia, they want to soften the rules for tinting car glasses

Once again, the head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Affairs of Veterans, Yaroslav Nilov, made such an initiative. He proposed to allow the appendix of at least 42 percent to the front side glass to apply on the front side glass. The machines salons will be less heat, and the traffic police inspectors will have fewer opportunities for abuse of powers, the deputy believes.

Deputies from the LDPR have developed a bill allowing to tint the side front glass. Condition – so that light transmission is at least 60 percent of the indicator established by the technical regulation. That is, it is proposed to be fined if light permeability is less than 42 percent.

Nilov notes that the problem with too hard requirements for tinting is especially relevant in the summer, when the sun heats the salon. This leads to the overspending of electricity to the air conditioner and affects the well -being of the driver. In addition, there are disputes with traffic police inspectors, for whom tinting is an occasion to check the car.

At the same time, Nilov proposes to increase fines: for improper tinting of the side front glasses – up to a thousand rubles, and the windshield – up to three thousand. Now the front side and windshield should pass 70 or more percent of the light. Violation of the rules is punishable by a fine of 500 rubles.

Earlier, about a hundred State Duma deputies demanded to cancel the January increase in fines one and a half times. According to them, there was no need for this. However, the court did not find violations in the process of adoption, as well as in the content of the law.
