In St. Petersburg, there was a multi-kilometer traffic jam on the Ring Road due to a serious accident

The incident occurred at the 57th kilometer of the Ring Road. This was reported by the Telegram channel “78.News”.

“At the 57th kilometer of the Ring Road, two heavy trucks and two cars collided. The accident caused a multi-kilometer traffic jam from the Ring Road interchange with Sofiyskaya Street to the Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge,” the publication says.

Footage posted online shows several damaged cars standing on the roadway, occupying two lanes of traffic. The recording also shows that as a result of the accident, the vehicles were damaged: their bodies were crushed, their hoods, bumpers, windows were broken, and their parts scattered along the road.

Before this, in Moscow, near the Savelovsky station, a man blew up a traffic police car with inspectors inside. Doctors hospitalized two injured traffic police officers; their colleague received injuries incompatible with life. The man is survived by his wife and two minor children.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, drifting at an intersection brought a Toyota driver to criminal charges.
