In Yaroslavl made “forbidden” discs without drawing for Rolls-Royce

The Russian producer of Vissol Wheels discs has shown a new product. Specialists boasted of 24-inch wheels for the updated Rolls-Royce Cullinan. They differ in manual mirror polishing and a shiny surface with small holes. In the United Arab Emirates, such discs are prohibited, as they can work as a lens and cause a fire.

The Yaroslavl company did not reveal the price of a set of 24-inch discs and did not show them by car. The reason is simple: the new “forging” will go to the UAE – just to where such design solutions are prohibited. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan can regularly install 23-inch discs, but the installation of 24-inch wheels is possible if there are suitable tires.

The idea with smooth wheels without drawing is not new: even automakers use it, however, on concepts. In operation, such wheels can be problematic: the surface runs the risk of scratching and losing the presentation, and the cooling of the brakes when slowing from high speeds is doubtful.

The updated Rolls-Royce Cullinan debuted about a year ago and is already distributed in Russia. Several dozens of crossovers were brought into our country, although the initial price on order is 70 million rubles.
