It is calculated how many Aurus cars are registered in Russia

The co -founder and director of the Avtostat analytical agency, Sergei Tselikov, shared the data based on the traffic police statistics. It turned out that the first car was registered at the end of 2019. In 2020, seven “auruses” were registered, in 2021 – 22, in 2022 – 31, in 2023 – 86, in 2024 – 118, and for the first quarter of 2025 – another 92. The total number of car cars is 357.

The bulk of Aurus cars are Senat sedans (289 pieces), then there are Komendant crossovers (50 pieces), Arsenal minivans (16 pieces), as well as Lafet station wagons (2 pieces). In statistics, convertibles are not taken into account separately: these machines are included in the total mass of Senat. The Avtostat data should not be considered comprehensive: for example, Aurus debut took place in May 2018, and the first car appeared in statistics a year and a half.

According to the agency, only 14 percent of Aurus car buyers are individuals. The rest are numerous legal entities, including state structures. Contrary to the common opinion, the data of Avtostat includes the machines of the Federal Security Service, just the special services does not immediately register its transportation in the traffic police. But imported deliveries remain overboard, although Aurus meets, for example, in the UAE.

According to Avtostat, 69 Aurus cars have resold in the second three years in the secondary market, including 31 sedan last year. However, from initial plans to sell five thousand Aurus per year, reality is very far away, and the circulation is significantly less than that of any foreign luxury brand.
