JAC JS3 and Bestune T77 are included in the list of the most budget crossovers on the Russian market

Auto News of the Day experts studied the current price lists of brands officially represented in Russia and compiled a fresh rating of the five most affordable new crossovers on the market. The top included models costing up to 2 million rubles.

The first place was taken by JAC JS3 – the cheapest new crossover in the Russian Federation. The price of a 2023 car with a discount of 250 thousand rubles starts from 1.6 million rubles. Under the hood is a 109-horsepower 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. The basic equipment includes front airbags, climate control, a six-speaker audio system, rear parking sensors, a stabilization system and cruise control.

In second place is the Livan X3 Pro, priced from 1.9 million rubles for the 2023 “Luxury” version. The front-wheel drive crossover is equipped with a 103-horsepower naturally aspirated engine and a CVT. Standard: multifunction steering wheel, rear view camera with parking sensors, front airbags, video recorder, keyless entry and multimedia with an 8-inch screen.

The third place is occupied by Bestune T77, costing from 1.9 million rubles for the basic “Lux” version of 2023. The model is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 160 hp. and a 7-speed “robot”. The equipment includes LED optics, side airbags, a rear view camera, keyless entry, heated front seats, climate control and a 12.3-inch multimedia screen.

Fourth place goes to the only representative of the domestic automobile industry – Moskvich 3 (based on JAC JS4) for 2 million rubles in the Standard Plus Telematics package. The crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 136 hp. and 6-speed manual transmission. The base includes: alloy wheels, airbags, rear view camera, keyless entry, heated seats, climate and cruise control, as well as multimedia with a 10.25-inch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Haval Jolion closes the top five with a minimum price of 2 million rubles for a car of the 2024 model year in the “Comfort” configuration (2025 or 2026). The crossover received a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 143 hp, a 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Standard equipment: 17-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, climate control, cruise control and multimedia with a 10-inch screen.
