Japanese-assembled Lexus NX crossover received Russian OTTS

A document has appeared in the open vehicle type approval database confirming that the Lexus NX has successfully completed the mandatory certification procedure. Motor magazine found this out. After receiving permits, such cars can be legally sold throughout the EEAS.

The applicant who submitted documents for obtaining OTTS was Toyota Motor Kazakhstan LLC. Representatives of the manufacturer are the Russian company Toyota Motor, the Armenian Toyota Yerevan and the Belarusian Emir Motors.

It is important to clarify that receiving Approval through the Russian laboratory “SATR-FOND” does not at all mean that the Japanese brand plans to resume sales of its models on the Russian market.

Let us add that the second generation car has passed certification. The document included petrol modifications NX 250, NX 350, NX 200, as well as hybrid NX 350H and NX 450H+.

By the way, the editors of Motor magazine tested this Lexus. It turned out to be interesting – a bold Lexus appearance, a bright interior, pleasant suspension and steering settings.
