In total, for this year, the Chinese brand, who was a partner of the Kaliningrad “Avtotor”, planned two launches in the Russian market. One of the new products will be the updated X3 Pro, it will go on sale in the third quarter (July-September). And at the end of the same third quarter, the Russian debut of the all -wheel drive version of the X7 crossover is scheduled.
Let’s start with the X7 Kunlun. So far, the flagship crossover is represented in Russia only with front -wheel drive, but with two engines to choose from: a turbocharged 1.6 liter and a capacity of 186 horsepower and two -liter for 238 forces. In China, the model also has an all -wheel drive version, which will appear in Russia until the end of 2025 – most likely, the version with four leading wheels will be available only with the “senior” engine 2.0.
As for the restyled Kaiyi X3 Pro, he was promised “a more relevant design of the front of the body, emphasizing the technological and futurism of the model.”

To date, the Kaiyi model line includes the medium -sized E5 sedan, compact crossovers X3 and X3 Pro, as well as the full -size alternate of the X7. Production is organized at the capacities of the Avtotor plant in the Kaliningrad region. Over the past year, the brand realized 7893 new cars on the Russian market, which is 7.2 percent more than in 2023, and three quarters of this amount were on the E5 sedan (6030 copies)-such data are given by Avtostat. In the Kaiyi itself, they say that they sold 8082 cars in 2024, and this is four percent more than last year’s result.
“During 2024, the efforts of Kaiyi in Russia were aimed primarily at improving the quality of interaction with the dealer network and increasing its profitability, as well as to achieve a balanced coverage of priority regions of the country,” said the authorized representative of the company Mr. Chen Syzhzhi. “Over the past year, we optimized the sales network, which currently has 73 dealerships in the largest cities of Russia.”
