Kaliningrad showed tiny electric cars of the new Russian brand Eonyx

Their assembly on Autotor will begin until the end of this year – but there are no prices or characteristics yet. Meanwhile, a runaway search on the Internet allows us to say that we are not talking about their own development, but about Chinese mini-cars.

The Kaliningrad Plant “Avtotor” first showed cars that will produce under the new Eonyx brand. They lit up at the Martial Arts of the Baltic Cup in Kaliningrad-and, as it turned out, “Ionics” called Chinese mini-electrocars with Aliexpress. In China, such vehicles produces a dozen firms, or even more. But their characteristics are the same plus minus.

As a rule, this is a low-power electric motor, for example, a three-kilowatt (4 hp), and a compact lithium-ion battery. The stem is 80-100 kilometers, despite the fact that the cars weigh nothing: 700-800 kilograms. The salon is designed for two, and manufacturers offer several options for colored linings on the front panel and doors.

In China, such cars are often used for daily trips around the city. They want to see them in us in delivery services, recreational zones and in the territories of sanatorium-resort complexes. The assembly of EOSIX electric cars will begin until the end of 2025, and over time, Avtotor wants to localize all the main components. The plans indicate the production of up to 50 thousand cars per year, but there are no prices yet. In China, mini-kars cost about 4 thousand dollars, which corresponds to 320 thousand rubles.
