KamAZ-master pilot Bogdan Karimov won the Snow Battle 2026 race

Winter Baja took place on February 15 at the Aliskino Motorsport Arena racing complex. Two days, five special stages, more than 200 kilometers and almost three dozen crews – the weekend turned out to be really hot, despite the frost.

The victory was won by the KamAZ-master crew Bogdan Karimov and Dmitry Nikitin on a Can-Am Maverick R XRS. Despite a solid lead after the first day, the leaders encountered technical problems: due to a jammed thermostat, the engine overheated, which allowed the rivals to reduce the gap.

In the finale of the race the fight was intense, but Karimov and Nikitin maintained a 1.5 minute advantage.

The ATVARMOR Racing pilots occupied the remaining places on the podium: Andrey Boksha and Ivan Bezdenezhnykh took silver, and Pavel Zhuravlev and Egor Okhotnikov took bronze (5.5 minutes behind the leader).

It was previously reported that UAZ is testing new diesel models in extreme conditions.
