KamAZ presented a 50-ton cargo tow truck

The official partner of the KamAZ brand, the Kuzovostroitel company, has launched a tow truck on the market on the new generation K5 chassis. The total weight of the KamAZ-65 951 vehicle reaches 50 tons, the front axles can withstand loads of up to 18 tons, and the rear bogie – up to 32 tons.

The lifting capacity of the main boom is 50 tons, the hydraulic pick-up is 30 tons, and the pick-up at maximum reach is 10 tons. According to the manufacturer, the bril is universal, which allows you to transport almost any equipment.

The tow truck is capable of performing complex emergency operations, including lifting overturned trucks and removing stuck equipment. Thus, the technique can be used as a universal tool for emergency rescue operations.

The car is equipped with a diesel engine with a capacity of 483 hp. and a 16-speed manual transmission. Wheel formula – 8×4. It is noted that the chassis “provides the necessary margin of strength and load capacity for the installation of a heavy-duty superstructure.”
