KamAZ tested a flagship tractor with a dump semi-trailer

KamAZ-54901 is the flagship model of the Russian truck brand. Previously, two-axle truck tractors formed road trains with curtain-sided, frameless and other semi-trailers, but never with dump trucks. The company has now completed test operation of such a coupling.

Operating tests took place for a month on the Saratov-Volgograd route, with the road train delivering crushed stone for road construction.

And these tests brought interesting information: in a month of work standard for such equipment, the car covered 10 thousand km.

So we can draw a conclusion about the distances covered by equipment engaged in construction and transporting sand or crushed stone.

By the way, KamAZ-54901 worked without overload during the tests: 20-25 tons of crushed stone were loaded into a platform with a capacity of 33 cubic meters.
