Ken Block’s legendary Hoonitruck pickup will go under the hammer

One of the most famous cars of the famous racer and showman Ken Block – the Ford F-150 Hoonitruck, built on the basis of a 1977 pickup truck and equipped with a Ford GT engine, will be auctioned by the Barrett-Jackson auction house. The event will take place in Scottsdale, Arizona from January 18 to 26, 2025.

Created by the Hoonigan team in collaboration with Detroit Speed ​​in 2018, the unique vehicle is built on a tubular frame and features aluminum body panels that replicate the look of the classic F-150. The car features flared wheel arches, a custom Ford Performance intake manifold, and twin turbochargers protruding from the hood.

Under the hood, the Hoonitruck is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 914 horsepower. The powerplant, based on the engine from the Le Mans race-winning Ford GT, is mated to a 6-speed Sadev gearbox and all-wheel drive.

Previously, Ken Block’s extreme tracked Ford F-150 pickup truck was put up for sale. This modified car, known from its stunt videos on YouTube, was valued at $195 thousand on the online platform LBI Limited, which is equivalent to approximately 17.6 million rubles at current exchange rates.
