If you compare the LADA ISKRA SW salon with a pre-production sedan with the PMEF-2024, then three things are noteworthy. Instead of a 6-speed “mechanics”, a variator is installed: these are the first images of “sparks” with an automated transmission. Adjustments of the climatic system have changed: instead of archaic twists, there are washers with a temperature screen and a chrome-on cantus a la Renault. The touchscreen of the media system has changed: it is frameless, the diagonal is greater, but there are no “hot” keys.
Judging by the test prototypes, there will be well-groomed versions without parking sensors at all, with an unpainted insert on the fifth door and 15-inch discs. Most likely, the configurations of the sedan and the station wagon will differ slightly, but the cross-version may not be available in the basic options. Whether ISKRA and ISKRA SW will appear on sale at the same time is an open question.
