Lada Iskra will be equipped with an option that Vesta does not have

According to the plan, the new “state employee” of AvtoVAZ should stand on the conveyor in the second half of April, and enter the market in May. The sedan will cost 1.2-1.6 million rubles, that is, it will take a niche between Granta and Vesta. At the same time, in the arsenal of “sparks” there will be a function that does not have any LADA-even the flagship, promises the press service of the Russian manufacturer.

ISKRA will receive an electronic stabilization system (ESC) from ITELMA, which will be supplemented by a tire pressure control system (ITPMS), AvtoVAZ said. The system will evaluate the level of pressure in the tires and its change over time, based on data on the speed of rotation of the wheel.

This is a less expensive option compared to DTPMS – a direct measurement system. ITPMS is less accurate, the wear of the tires affect its work, and after replacing or pumping the wheel, you need to save data on the current pressure.

Lada ISKRA will receive a 1.6-liter Granta engine developing 90 or 106 horsepower. A pair of him, depending on power, will compose a five/six -speed “mechanics” or variator.

In addition to ESC, ISKRA will receive an anti -lock system (ABS) and a lifting system (HAC), as well as light and rain sensors. The equipment list already in the “base” promises to include two airbags, immobilizer, ERA-Glonass block, front electric windows, audio training, LED DRO and twin, as well as 15-inch steel discs. Among the paid options are air conditioning, rear view camera, leather steering wheel and more.
