Lada Niva has a new version "Taiga" for heavy off-road

The car, designed for lovers of active recreation and off-roading, differs from the standard version in an expanded set of off-road equipment and characteristic exterior elements. The Promtech company received vehicle type approval (VTA) for the production and sale of SUVs.

The new Taiga modification is based on the three-door Lada Niva, but engineers have made a number of changes to the design. The car received additional safety arches, engine crankcase protection, wheel arch extensions, as well as reinforced suspension, specially adapted for use in difficult off-road conditions.

You can recognize the special series externally by contrasting black body elements, branded stickers with the name of the version and rims shod with toothy off-road tires.

The interior features moisture-resistant mats, stain-resistant seat upholstery, as well as an expanded range of options.

The technical stuffing remained unchanged. Under the hood there is still a 1.7-liter gasoline engine with an output of 83 hp, which is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission.

Earlier, the most popular crossovers that Russians are driving from China became known.
