Lamborghini will release a new model for the company’s birthday

The Italian company published the first photo of the new product on social networks. The new model will be released in honor of the 63rd anniversary of the company, founded in 1963. The premiere is expected next weekend. The darkened image clearly shows that the car is based on the limited edition Fenomeno coupe. It is most likely that the open version will be shown to the public – the Fenomeno Spyder.

In the first official photo, an aggressive hood with air intakes, large ventilation holes on the sides, a carbon splitter and vertical slits are clearly recognizable. The original Fenomeno coupe was produced in just 29 copies. It is equipped with the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 in Lamborghini history. The six-liter engine develops 824 hp. and produces 725 Nm of torque.

The engine works in conjunction with three electric motors: two are installed at the front, the third is integrated into an eight-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. As a result, the total output of the hybrid power plant is 1065 hp. The electric motors are powered by a traction battery with a capacity of 7 kWh.

Acceleration to 100 km/h in the coupe takes 2.4 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 350 km/h. The Revuelto coupe, Lamborghini’s current flagship model, has a similar 0-62mph time of 2.5 seconds with the same top speed.

The characteristics of the open version have not yet been disclosed. It is possible that the circulation of the Fenomeno Spyder will also be strictly limited. All details will become known during the event dedicated to the 63rd anniversary of the company’s founding.
