Customers invested $393 thousand in tuning the old SUV – this amount in the USA can buy a new, well-equipped Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari or Aston Martin. At the same time, under the hood of such an expensive Defender, the original diesel engine has been preserved.
The tuning company Helderburg from Arkansas spent 3 thousand hours refining the five-door SUV. The customers wanted to get the perfect Defender without compromise and spared no expense on this.
The car received leather upholstery, a modern media system with Apple CarPlay, an original front bumper with a winch and a soft top. At the same time, they did not integrate a more powerful engine under the hood of the SUV: it retained the 2.8 inline 6-cylinder diesel engine.
At the same time, the engine was rebuilt and slightly modernized. It received a new cylinder block and a more efficient radiator.
Defender also received more powerful brakes. Other tuning elements include powerful running boards and new wheels with off-road tires, as well as a steering wheel with a wooden rim.
