Land Rover has released a classic Defender with a soft top. The assembly of the Classic Defender V8 Works Bespoke Soft Top SUVs will be engaged in the LAND Rover Classic department – and they will cost expensive. Prices start from 195 thousand pounds.
The Land Rover Classic branch announced the return of Defender with a mild top. Soft-tops will be exclusively offered in the option with a short body, taking as a basis the SUVs of 2012-2016. There are references to the latest classical Defender in the design of restaurants. And under the hood of the Classic Defender V8 Works Bespoke Soft Top, the atmospheric “eight” 5.0 (405 hp, 515 Nm) paired with an eight -speed zf automatic.

Of course, the factory restaurant will retain its entire off -road potential, but will add in comfort. So, new springs, shock absorbers Bilstein and eibach stabilizers will appear. The standard brakes will be replaced with Alcon mechanisms with four piston calipers. Wheels with a diameter of 16 to 18 inches, more than a dozen color schemes of the cabin, 49 body painting and unique accessories like a “wine cabinet” and a holder for surfbors will be available.
Since the SUVs will be collected mainly by hand, the price will be rather big. In the UK, for the Classic Defender V8 Works Bespoke Soft Top, they will ask for a minimum of 195 thousand pounds, which corresponds to 21.4 million rubles.
