Lebanon will remain in Russia despite modest sales

The company announced this after the publication of Autostat, in which it was listed among the brands whose departure dealers expect. Livan was mentioned by Nikolai Ivanov, director of the new cars department at Rolf: he said that “with a high degree of probability” Livan, as well as Kaiyi, SWM and Foton, could leave Russia due to low dealer profitability. In a conversation with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Livan emphasized that they do not intend to leave the market.

A representative of the Chinese brand noted that Livan “has never been in Rolf’s portfolio.” “We look with confidence into the future of Lebanon in Russia,” said Lebanese. “Our main goal now is dealer profitability, and our strategy for next year is based on that.” At the same time, Lebanon admitted that “sales are currently low.”

Livan told what new products it has prepared for Russia for 2025 Livan X6 Pro: a crossover that has become a budget Geely Instead of Kia Cerato: sales of Livan S6 Pro have begun in Russia

For 2025, Livan has planned several launches in Russia: the updated X3 Pro and X6 Pro crossovers, as well as a certain hybrid model, will hit the market.

In the meantime, Livan sells the four-meter crossover X3 Pro (from 1.67 million rubles), the larger X6 Pro based on the Geely Emgrand X7 (from 2.63 million rubles) and the S6 sedan for 2.55 million rubles.

But another Chinese brand, Skywell, is not doing so well in Russia. The Izvestia newspaper found out that dealers are running out of cars, and new supplies are not expected at car dealerships. In total, a little more than two hundred Skywell machines have been sold since the beginning of the year.
