The flagship of the model range, which will be presented on January 29, will receive such changes. According to the head of the German brand, Ola Kallenius, more than 50% of the parts in the machine’s design are modernized or completely new. During the restyling process, more than 2.7 thousand components were updated.
The appearance of the new sedan has been seriously improved: the radiator grille has been enlarged by 20%, headlights have appeared with built-in lights in the form of stars. Fans of the brand will also appreciate the return of the traditional Mercedes-Benz emblem to the hood, which will receive an illuminated function.
The interior will feature improved rear seats that have been called best-in-class. Comfort will be enhanced by the updated Airmatic air suspension. There will also be a new operating system. The number of physical buttons will be kept to a minimum.
As Källenius said, the engine lineup will remain traditional: a new V8 has been developed for the sedan, and the top versions of the model will retain the V12 power unit.
It was previously reported that Moskvich sales in 2025 fell by a third.
