Mercedes-Benz threatens to update its model range: 30 new products in two years

This year, a presentation of 16 models is planned, six of which will be fully electric. The debut of the updated Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will take place in March. Later, the new AMG GT 4-Door will be shown to the public. It is expected that the new products will also include various versions of the flagship S-Class sedan and new AMG modifications.

In addition, spy photographers have repeatedly noticed the updated Mercedes-Benz EQS liftback. It is predicted to have new LED optics, an 800-volt architecture and an upgraded power plant with more efficient engines and an improved battery. Also this year we can expect the appearance of a new compact crossover, which is likely to replace the GLA, and an extended version of the GLC EQ for the Chinese market.

Next year, 2027, will bring another 14 new Mercedes-Benz products, three of which will be electric. The main premieres will be the open version of the G-Class SUV (G-Class Cabriolet), as well as the long-awaited SUV modification of the AMG GT. A long-wheelbase version of the GLE is also being prepared for the Chinese market.

Mercedes’ adjusted earnings before interest and taxes fell from 13.7 billion euros in 2024 to 8.2 billion euros in 2025. The company attributes this to difficulties in the Chinese market, tariffs and currency fluctuations.
