Mercedes showed the interior of the C-Class EV with a full-panel screen

The premiere of the new electric C-Class is scheduled for April 20. The car will feature increased interior space, a heat pump and certified interior design. Carscoops reports this.

The company calls the electric sedan’s new interior a “driver-centric sanctuary,” but it looks more like a mobile digital billboard. The display is a 39.1-inch Hyperscreen from the GLC EV. Because of this, the updated flagships EQS and S-Class look either one step ahead or already outdated.

At the same time, practice shows that touch glass will not replace the confidence that familiar buttons and controls provide. Although there are exceptions: mechanical controls are retained on the center console and steering wheel. The latter is likely borrowed from the off-road version.

Mercedes promises that the electric sedan will be the most spacious in the history of the model. It will also provide “exceptional” long-distance comfort thanks to new seats, an advanced climate control system and improved sound insulation.
