In this regard, the brand will continue to invest in the development of machines equipped with gasoline power plants. Plans for the electrification of the lineup will be completed later.

Mini plans to release a new crossover with an internal combustion engine, which will replace the Aceman electric SUV in the United States. In addition, the battery version of the Cooper hatchback, as well as an electric convertible, will not go on sale to the North American market. Due to the popularity of machines with traditional engines, the company postpone plans for the electrification of the lineup. At the same time, the manufacturer plans to develop a battery line based on the Rocketman concept.

In the first quarter of 2025, the share of electric vehicles in BMW Group supplies, including Mini and Rolls-Royce models, amounted to 18.7 percent. At the same time, Bavarians plan to reach 50 percent by 2030. However, the real figure will depend on market demand and infrastructure development.
